Tension and stress

People may become ill because of much stress if they experience a lot of tension over a long period of time. The complicated living cities, traffic jams, pollution, driving hysterically in the streets, unemployment problems and competitions in jobs have greatly affected our nerves. This pressure causes stress which may lead nervous breakdown and sometimes to insanity.

When we are under psychological pressure, many parts of our body are affected such as the stomach, head, skin and heart. As a result, we feel tense: these tensions make us lose our nerves. Sometimes, it leads us to heart attacks or even drives some other people to suicide. Doctors confirm that the main cause of illness results from the consequences of stress.

Many psychiatrists believe that fighting tension can be achieved by relaxation from time to time. "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" we have to find time to relax and enjoy ourselves. Enjoyment differs from one person to another. You can find it in chatting with your friends or having some out doors sports. Walking and running are good for soothing your nerves. Taking up a certain hobby such as painting or collecting stamps may make you feel at ease.

Tension may be relived if you stop your worries a little. You have to follow the wise saying that advises you "not to trouble troubles until trouble troubles you" you should be optimistic and always think about the good sides in your life. Pessimism is a deadly enemy that defeats your hopes and aspirations look always cheerfully for the future and don't blame your bad luck in the past. Don't cry over spilt milk because what is done cannot be undone. A bright dawn always comes after a dark night. The most important thing to have faith in God who will never forget you even the most desperate hours.

To conclude, you should always remember that tension would lead you to fetal consequences, which make you sick, miserable and unhappy. Don't forget that the most difficult problem in life has never been the end of the world.
